 Popular Concepts about Most Prestigious Careers
On one hand, we often find parents looking for the most prestigious careers for their children. While on the other hand, there are few careers and professions which, for no such reasons, listed in the least prestigious careers by many, young and old.
No doubt there are a few professions like that of a doctor or nurse, firefighter or military officer, teacher or a scientists, which serves humanity, offer service to society with a lot of passion and compassion. These careers are counted under most prestigious careers. But does that really mean that other simple yet effort taking jobs will fall under the least prestigious careers. A job of an accountant, businessman, or stock broker does not hold much gratitude in the recent age. At the same time not many people think of taking acting or a job of an entertainer as a full time career options.
Where the current IT boom has made different braches of engineering favorite careers for many, a recent boom in Green Collar Jobs has influenced many in farming, and (R &D) Research and Development Departments. Though a set of job opportunities have sprung up in the recent times like career counseling, designing, or journalist etc. which have attracted Gen X especially.
But still the concept of the most prestigious jobs or the least prestigious jobs is widely prevailed and is considered by many while choosing the right career options. We stay in an interdependent world where the division of labor and delegation of authority is tremendously important for the proper functioning of the society. And as far as one is contented and performing his duty efficiently there is no such jobs to build the most prestigious careers or the least prestigious careers.
